“Sui-Suta” is a manufacturer of Customized handmade Nakshi Kantha and Sui Suta products, where each product is made with attention and care. Each of our Nakshi Kantha and Suta work is a new form of livelihood through the skills and creativity of rural women.

Our vision is to establish “Sui-Suta” as a trusted, modern and convenient institution for rural women, which will gain recognition on the world stage for their skills and initiatives.

Our Story: The Suisuta Journey
We are the Suisuta family — a heartfelt initiative born in 2020 with a simple yet powerful mission: to empower rural women through the timeless art of Nakshi Kantha and thread work. Our story began even earlier, in 2017, with my elder sister’s passion project — the Shisha Shiksha Institute, a small educational center she ran from her home. Over time, the school became more than a place for learning; it became a community. By 2020, the parents of over 50 students often gathered after school hours, and that’s when a new idea was born. Together, my sister and I began a small initiative to provide employment opportunities to village women through hand embroidery and thread work. What started as a humble effort has now grown into a vibrant network of 200+ women across 13 villages, all united by creativity, resilience, and purpose. At Suisuta, we believe we are building more than just a business — we are nurturing a social movement. Our work offers not only income, but dignity, confidence, and a path to self-reliance for rural mothers and sisters.
